Aero Engines

Large quantities of cast magnesium and aluminium parts are used in engines for both commercial and military aircraft. These include air intakes, ducts, gearboxes, oil tanks, brackets, pumps and hydraulics parts. Stone Foundries are major suppliers of engine parts as sand and investment castings to customers which include Rolls-Royce and Snecma.
